Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Loviu (the "Service"), provided by Loviu AI LLC ("Loviu", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Loviu is an AI assistant offering conversational support and suggestions about relationships, dating, and personal communication. Loviu is not a therapist, counselor, doctor, or lawyer, and the Service does not provide professional advice. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

2. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. You will not:

  • use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose;
  • upload content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others;
  • attempt to probe, scan, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service or its security;
  • use the Service to generate spam, malware, sexual content involving minors, harassment, or hate speech;
  • attempt to jailbreak the AI, generate deepfakes, or impersonate real individuals.

You are solely responsible for your prompts and how you act on outputs.

4. AI Outputs & Accuracy

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. Do not rely on Loviu for medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other regulated professional advice. Always verify important information independently. We may filter, refuse, or remove outputs at our discretion.

5. Intellectual Property

Loviu, including its software, design, branding, and content we provide, is owned by Loviu AI LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your active plan. You retain ownership of the content you submit and grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide and improve the Service.

6. Payments, Subscriptions & Taxes — Paddle as Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payments, billing, currency conversion, taxes, invoices, cancellations, and refunds are handled in accordance with Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until canceled. You can cancel anytime via the customer portal accessible at paddle.net or by contacting us. Our refund policy is available on the Refund Policy page.

7. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your account data after a reasonable period.

8. Disclaimers & Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loviu AI LLC's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to Paddle for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Loviu AI LLC harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email. Your continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Loviu AI LLC's place of incorporation, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law grants you the right to your local courts.
