Welcome to Loviu. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Loviu app, website and related services (the "Service"). The Service is provided by Loviu ("Loviu", "we", "us"), the seller of the Service. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Notice.

1. Who can use Loviu

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your country) to use Loviu. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use. If you are using Loviu on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. What Loviu does

Loviu is an artificial intelligence tool that analyzes conversations, screenshots, audio and messages you provide, in order to suggest emotional interpretations, possible replies and relationship guidance.

Loviu is not a substitute for professional care — psychological, therapeutic, legal or medical. Responses are generated by AI and may contain errors, biases or inaccurate information. Always use your own judgment before making decisions.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity performed under your account. Tell us immediately about any unauthorized use. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Content you submit

You retain all rights to the content you submit (text, screenshots, audio). By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content through our AI providers for the sole purpose of generating the analysis you requested and operating the Service.

You represent and warrant that:

You have the right to share the content you submit, including when it involves other people;
You will comply with applicable privacy and data protection laws (including GDPR in Europe and LGPD in Brazil) when submitting conversations that involve third parties;
You will not submit illegal, fraudulent, hateful, harassing or sexually explicit content involving minors, or content that infringes the rights of others.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use Loviu to stalk, harass, manipulate, defraud, or harm another person;
Attempt to extract, copy, reverse-engineer or resell the Service;
Circumvent usage limits, authentication, payments or security measures;
Use the Service to generate deceptive, defamatory or illegal content;
Attempt to jailbreak the AI, generate malware, create deepfakes, or produce content that violates the acceptable-use policies of our AI providers.

You are responsible for your prompts, for how you use the outputs, for verifying accuracy, and for having the necessary rights to any content you submit. We may remove content, refuse or filter outputs, and suspend accounts to enforce these rules.

6. Plans, payments and Merchant of Record

Some Loviu features require a paid subscription. Prices, billing periods and automatic renewal are shown before you subscribe.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, invoicing and cancellation mechanics are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms.

You can cancel your subscription at any time — cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy (30-day money-back guarantee).

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may close your account at any time in the app settings. When your access ends, your personal data and content are deleted in accordance with our Privacy Notice, except where retention is required by law.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, brand, layout, code and materials of Loviu are our property or licensed to us, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you selected. You may not reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the Service, or circumvent its technical limits.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loviu disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, loss of profits, loss of data or emotional consequences arising from use of the analyses. No analysis constitutes professional advice. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will let you know in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the new Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence to the extent required by applicable law.
